Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from sendm at any time. We provide multiple methods to delete your data depending on your relationship with our service and the social media platform through which you interacted.
For Instagram Users
If you've messaged a business that uses sendm through Instagram, you can request deletion of your conversation data through any of these methods:
Option 1: Through Instagram/Facebook Settings
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
- Find "sendm" in the list of connected apps
- Click "Remove" - this will trigger automatic deletion of your data from our systems
Option 2: Direct Request
Send an email to privacy@sendm.ai with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - Instagram"
- Your Instagram username or user ID
- The business account you communicated with (if known)
For TikTok Users
If you've interacted with a business that uses sendm through TikTok, you can request deletion of your data:
Option 1: Through TikTok Settings
- Go to your TikTok account settings
- Navigate to "Security and Permissions" or "Connected Apps"
- Find "sendm" and revoke access
- When you deauthorize sendm, we will automatically delete all TikTok data associated with your account
Option 2: Direct Request
Send an email to privacy@sendm.ai with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - TikTok"
- Your TikTok username or user ID
- The business account you communicated with (if known)
For LinkedIn Users
If you've interacted with a business that uses sendm through LinkedIn, you can request deletion of your data:
Option 1: Through LinkedIn Settings
- Go to your LinkedIn Settings & Privacy
- Navigate to "Data Privacy" then "Permitted Services"
- Find "sendm" and remove access
- We will delete your LinkedIn data within 10 days of deauthorization
Option 2: Direct Request
Send an email to privacy@sendm.ai with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - LinkedIn"
- Your LinkedIn profile URL or member ID
- The business page you communicated with (if known)
For X (Twitter) Users
If you've interacted with a business that uses sendm through X (formerly Twitter), you can request deletion of your data:
Option 1: Through X Settings
- Go to your X Settings and Privacy
- Navigate to "Security and Account Access" then "Apps and Sessions"
- Find "sendm" and revoke access
- We will delete your X data within 24 hours of deauthorization
Option 2: Direct Request
Send an email to privacy@sendm.ai with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - X"
- Your X username or user ID
- The business account you communicated with (if known)
For Business Customers
If you have a sendm business account and want to delete your data:
Account Deletion
- Log in to your sendm account
- Go to Settings
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion request
Alternatively, email privacy@sendm.ai from your registered email address requesting account deletion.
What Data Is Deleted
When you request deletion, we remove:
- Your contact profile information
- All message history and conversation data
- Any metadata associated with your interactions
- Analytics data linked to your identifier
Data That May Be Retained
Some data may not be immediately deleted in all systems:
- AI Service Provider Logs: Message content previously sent to AI service providers for processing may be retained by those providers for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and safety purposes, after which it is automatically deleted. AI providers do not use this data for training.
- Observability and Quality Logs: We use observability services to monitor AI response quality. These logs may contain message content and are retained for a limited period for quality assurance and debugging purposes. Over time, this data is progressively anonymized.
- Legal Obligations: Some data may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance). This retained data will be minimized and anonymized where possible.
Processing Time
Data deletion requests are typically processed within:
- Automatic (via Instagram/Facebook): Within 24-48 hours
- Automatic (via TikTok deauthorization): Immediately upon receiving deauthorization webhook
- Automatic (via LinkedIn deauthorization): Within 10 days
- Automatic (via X deauthorization): Within 24 hours
- Manual email requests: Within 30 days
You will receive confirmation when your data has been deleted.
Check Deletion Status
If you received a confirmation code when requesting deletion through Facebook/Instagram, you can check the status of your request:
